
Early, Low Estimates for Flu Vaccination Coverage in Some Groups Raise Concerns at CDC

CDC's first estimates for flu vaccine uptake among children and pregnant people so far this flu season are lower compared to the same time last season, which could be dangerous for many of the people in these groups who may be at higher risk of developing serious flu complications. Flu vaccine can be lifesaving in children, and flu vaccination helps protect pregnant people during and after pregnancy.
